I grew up believing that there is something called spiritual wives and husbands. Now if you live in Africa, you will hear the stories and “experiences” concerning underworld wives or husbands tormenting people.
Churches are promoting this error, and pastors are defending this nonsense. I believe that people need to hear the truth and be liberated from errors that have been propagated in the churches of God for many years. People need to hear the truth.
I pray that God will open the eyes of the people so that they will think the Bible, and leave the tradition of men alone.
First Error:
Spiritual wives and Husbands are Biblical
The so-called spiritual wives and husband is not Biblical doctrine, and it has no place in the Bible, and the promoters of this nonsense will have to cook up lies, stories, and experiences for their clients to believe them. But we who know our Bible will understand that there is nothing like spirit wives and husbands.
I have read my Bible from Genesis to Revelation, there is nothing like spiritual husbands and wives, and therefore, if our lives, faith, and practices depend on the Scripture, believers should frown and reject the promotion of this heresy in the body of Christ.

Spiritual wives and husbands will delay you from getting married.
Nigerian pastors watch lots of Nollywood movies and other “Christian movies”, and many of them think that those acts are real-life events. I do not believe that not getting married on time is a result of spiritual wives and husbands.
There are people in the Bible who got married very late, and at the right time, they got married, and God blessed their marriage. It is not about when to get married, but how you got married.
Isaac was forty years old when he married Rebekah, and God blessed their marriage at the right time.
Even after getting married at forty years old, they have to wait for some time before the union was blessed with children.

Spiritual Wives and Husbands are the Reason for the Lack of Children in the Marriage
This is one of the popular errors that trend well. These people know well that the blessing of marriage is children, but when couples do not have kids, then they blame it on spirit husbands and wives. Again, there are examples in the Bible where couples had to wait and wait before they bear children.
We see Bible characters like Abraham and Sarah, Isaac and Rebekah, Hannah and Elkanah, and Elizabeth and Zechariah. These couples waited before God hears their cry and desire for children.
Dear readers, maybe you are trusting God for the fruitfulness of the womb, but do not follow people to blame your present fruitfulness on spiritual wives and husbands.

Spiritual Wives and Husbands can cause you Badluck in Life
First of all, the word luck is not found in the Bible. I believe that it is God who determines everything in life. He is a sovereign God, he is in charge, and has total control of every time that is happening in our lives and in the world today.
Psalm 75:6 For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.
There are people in the Bible that found favor in the sight of the Lord, and it is favor of the Lord that we all need in this world. If the Lord does not help us, no one else can help us to navigate through life successfully.
The first thing that you need to understand is you need to be saved. Are you saved? Have you trusted Christ as your only Hope for Heaven?

The Spirit Wives or Husbands have the ability to kill the Earthly husbands or wives
Here is another lie about this spirit relationship the ability of a spirit partner to kill an earthly partner.
People believe this garbage and churches also promote this and try to spiritualize this matter, but then does it Bible teach about this?
