Four Reasons Why People Failed to Share their Faith
Sharing our faith is a great opportunity, but unfortunately, many people do not find delight in sharing their faith with others.
Acts 1:8, And ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon, and ye shall be witnessing unto Me…..
God has a mandate for every Christians, and the mandate is the sharing of our faith. Either you like it or not, God gives you the command to go out and witness to others about Jesus. Many people are so wrapped up into so many things that are not even Biblical, and they ignore their first job that God has given to them.
The Devil Called Preachers
Let me get you straight.
The power is not for speaking in so called tongues nowadays.
The power is not to get into all this fake healing and miracles today.
The power is not for self glory or glorification nor for self edification.
But the power is for witnessing, soul winning, and to evangelize the lost world for Christ. If you are asking God for his power,and you are not witnessing for Him, you are getting it all wrong.
Romans 1:16, I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, IT IS POWER of God unto salvation. And we should be ready to use His power that he promised to see the Lost people come to the saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus.
The disciples of Jesus Christ went everywhere preaching God’s word both to the Jews and also to the Gentiles, and many people are getting like three thousands, five thousands, and multitude of people are getting saved everyday. I hope we would really see that happened in our ministry today.
We are so busy today about sharing our faith, but we are not busy to share our fun with others that we don’t even know. So why do people fail to share their faith?
1. They are not sure about it
1 John 5:13… Believe on The Lord Jesus Christ that ye maybe know… What assurance do you want more than this one? If you are not sure about Jesus that you have, you will never take a bold step to witness to others about Him.
Are you sure you are saved?
If you are saved, nothing should hinder you from talking to others about Him. Your testimony on how you got saved, would be enough to get someone saved. Let me tell you, the best way to testify to others, is giving the testimony on how you got saved.

2. They failed to practice what they believed.
For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. (2 Timothy 1:12 KJV)
These have hindered many people from getting out for soul winning. What will people say if I go out soul winning? Since your talk is not equal to your walk, you should expect people to question what you have. We are to be a lighthouse and a shining light that shines every time. We need to live a godly life that reflects Christ in us. I AM OF JESUS CHRIST IN THE BIBLE
3. They allowed Fear to stop them.
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; (2 Timothy 1:7-8 KJV)
When I started telling people about Jesus, I was timid the first time, but the more I did, then more I was bold, and I used to think about this verse in the Bible where it says, ” the righteous are bold as lion. Don’t let hinder you from sharing your faith to friends, and family. You need to remember that God saved, so that you can show others the way of salvation more perfectly from the Word of God. It is your responsibility to do it, and you must not let anything hindered the greatest work on earth.

4. They are living in sins
Many Christians are not sharing their faith because they are living in sins. Let your light so shine before men, we are living testimony to others around us, so God wants you and I to be a lighthouse.
We have the best job all over the world, and that is the job of preaching God’s word to others. God would have love to do the job Himself, but he has chosen you to be that spokesman for Him, and He works through you to bring others to the saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. (2 Corinthians 5:19 KJV)
Christians, sharing your faith with others is your utmost duty, it is a command from The Lord Jesus Christ, and of you are telling others about Jesus, you are not a good Christian, how can you call yourself a Christian, and not sharing your faith with others. And it is sad that many Christians have not opened their mouth to tell others about Jesus, and the price that he paid on the cross for the sins of mankind.
Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame. (1 Corinthians 15:34 KJV)
