Can We Go to Heaven with Tattoos?

What Does God think about Tattoos?

One of the questions that has been asked repeatedly is, can we go to Heaven with tattoos?

It is interesting to know that there are people who are sincerely seeking for an answer on this subject.

Do God’s Word permit believers to get tattoos on their body? The Bible speaks about tattoos, and people also have their views about tattoos.

Now when your views contradits the Bible on the subject, I hope you would humble yourself enough to accept the truth from the Bible.

Can we go to Heaven with tattoos on our body? Do I need to remove my tattoos before I qualify for Heaven?

Will God send me to hell for getting tattoos?

These are some of the few questions that people are asking, and they are seeking biblical answers to their questions.

But I will try to show from the Bible what He thinks about tattoos? And you will be the judge, and make a right decision on the truth you have heard from the Bible.

The Bible is very clear on what gets people to Heaven, but some pastors who do not understand the truth will frighten their people that tattoos are a mark of the beast, and that people who get tattoos will not get to Heaven.

FIVE THINGS YOU DON’T NEED IN ORDER TO BE AN EFFECTIVE MINISTER OF JESUS CHRIST

I have seen many people asking this question over and over again about going to Heaven with tattoos. Many people are asking to find out that if having tattoos can hinder them from coming to Christ. My answer is NO. Having a tattoo does not hinder anyone from coming to Christ, because Christ did not give us restrictions to those who can come to Him.

Rev 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

I strongly opposed the printing of anything on the body, and Bible forbids us from doing so. Lev 19:28, Lev 21:5

Before I answer this question, you need to understand what takes people to Heaven.

What takes us to Heaven is not about our outward show or our appearance, it is none of that, the Bible is very clear on what takes believers to Heaven.

You can only get to Heaven because of your faith in Christ.
Ephesians 2:8-9
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourself; it is the gift of God.
Not of works; lest any man should boast.

We can see clearly from the Scripture that salvation of our sins is from the Lord, and not of works that we do lest any man should boast.

You can’t get to Heaven because you are good, righteous, and perfect, and even Christ said that he is coming to call the righteous; but sinners to repentance And to repent means to change your mind from believing wrong things about salvation to believing in Christ alone as the only payment for man’s sin.
Romans 11:6, Romans 3:10,12, 2 Timothy 1:9

As for Me and My House- Joshua Declaration

Christ loves you, and gave his life for your sins, and by believing in Christ; you have an eternal and everlasting life, the moment you trusted in Christ by faith. If you know what the Bible teaches about what takes a person to Heaven; having tattoos does not disqualify you from getting into Heaven. Maybe getting to heaven is simple right, but salvation is easy because Christ did the hardest part for you to be saved.

Is tattoo encouraged from the Scripture? No

Bible strongly forbids it, and also it can also cause some skin problems in the future.

And also our body is the temple of the Holy Ghost, and that is why God wants you to take care of his temple well, and healthy, so that you can be able to serve the Lord with your full capacity.

God wants to abstain from all the appearances of evil.

In Heaven, we will have a glorified, and incorruptible body that is perfect without sin. But now, we still have the body of sin within us.

If you want to get to Heaven, there is only One way to Heaven, by believing and trusting Christ to save from sin.
John 3:15-16,18, and 36
